Goose has shared pro-shot video of the band’s full set from Austin City Limits Festival on October 16th. The single-set performance marked the end of the first leg of Goose’s fall tour.
The band played its first set at Austin City Limits 2022 on Sunday, October 9th, the night after a guest-filled blowout at the nearby Stubb’s Bar-B-Q. One week later, after an intervening stop in Dallas, Goose returned to Austin for the second weekend of ACL and delivered an eight-song heater to cap off leg one of the band’s ongoing fall tour in support of its latest release, Dripfield.
After kicking off the set with a paring of Dripfield tracks “Borne” and “Hungersite”, Goose continued on with “Animal”, a song debuted earlier this year, and “Arcadia”. Next came the title track from Dripfield, followed by “726”. “Creatures” then segued directly into “Shama Lama Ding Dong” by Otis Day & The Knights, which was dedicated to percussionist Jeff Arevalo for his birthday.

After some well-deserved time off, Goose will hit the road in November for a joint arena tour with Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio’s eponymous solo band. The band will also celebrate Goosemas at Broomfield, CO’s 1st Bank Center on December 16th and 17th and New Year’s Eve at Cincinnati’s Andrew J. Brady Music Center on December 30th and 31st.
