The Connecticut-based indie-jam quintet Goose has released a new cinematic music video for “Borne“. Goose initially shared the song as its latest studio single back on January 18th and debuted the track live during its show at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on the 28th.

This latest video, directed by Dylan Hahn, breathes new life into a track that has quickly become a fan favorite. It stars guitarist/vocalist Rick Mitarotonda, who finds himself in a remote cabin and embarks on an inner journey of dream manifestation. At first, Mitarotonda is unable to put pen to paper and wearily moseys around his newfound abode in search of inspiration. By the end of the five-minute video, the protagonist has fully pondered the makings of success and emerges galvanized and ready to take on the challenging road of life.

“[Borne] is a pretty unfiltered breath of newness; a beginning statement,” said Mitarotonda in a press release. “The song is a declaration to oneself to remember to not overthink things and make them more than they should be. It’s a reminder to try to be honest, and to let our work be what it is.”
