Goose Announces Five-Night 2023 Residency At The Capitol Theatre

Goose has announced a five-night run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY set to take place from March 8th–12th, 2023. The five-night, five-show stretch at the historic “rock palace” is the first headlining entry on the band’s 2023 schedule, which as of now only features festival plays at events like Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival (3/2–3/5) and FloydFest (7/26–7/30).

One dollar from each ticket purchased for Goose’s March run at The Capitol theatre will benefit Backline, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects music industry professionals with mental health and wellness resources. Their goal is to build a safer and more supportive music industry by helping our community access quality mental health care providers that understand the rigors of a career in entertainment.

While the CT-native jam-rock quintet has never before headlined The Capitol Theatre, guitarist/vocalist Rick Mitarotonda recently hit The Cap for a three-night stint as one of Phil Lesh‘s “Friends.” Revisit Mitarotonda’s foray into the waters of the Grateful Dead in Port Chester here.

The announcement of the five-night Goose residency at The Capitol Theatre comes in the midst of the band’s co-headlining tour with Trey Anastasio Band. At each show so far, Trey Anastasio has joined in on Goose’s set and members of Goose have sat in with TAB. Lottery tickets for the five-night Goose run at The Capitol Theatre are available now through Wednesday, November 16th at 5:00 p.m. ET. Lottery winners will be notified around 6:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday night. A limited amount of GA tickets and VIP tickets will be available only through the lottery. VIP includes options for GA or Reserved tickets plus a limited edition show poster, commemorative laminate, early entry to the venue and access to the merch table.
