Ever-rising CT jam-rock outfit Goose has announced the details of Goosemas 2021, set to take place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Saturday, December 18th. The performance will feature three sets of Goose and will mark the final stop on the band’s highly anticipated 2021 fall tour.
The performance will mark the eighth annual edition of the Goose holiday tradition as well as the band’s largest headlining show ever. Goosemas began eight years ago with a party in the basement of Factory Underground, a Norwalk, CT music studio. By 2019, the celebration had grown big enough to find a home at the roughly 1,000-cap Wall Street Theater.
While the pandemic precluded any live, in-person celebrations in December 2020, the band delivered a unique Goosemas livestream from the roof of a building in New York City’s Rockefeller Center. The show, streamed for free on Twitch, drew over 60,000 viewers worldwide and raised $45,000 for Conscious Alliance and Save Our Stages.

Now, Goosemas will return home to CT and welcome thousands of fans to join in the party for the eighth year of the Goose holiday tradition in 2021.
As guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Peter Anspach said of the event, “We are so grateful to everyone who will make plans to travel to Mohegan, this will be our biggest show to date we and couldn’t be more stoked!”
“We’re so stoked to host Goosemas back home in Connecticut. It has truly been incredible to see how the event has grown over the past few years, and we can’t wait to do it again in front of a live audience,” added guitarist/vocalist Rick Mitarotonda.
Initial tickets to Goosemas VIII at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 will be available through a lottery, with a request period running Tuesday, August 24th at 12:00 p.m. ET through Wednesday, August 25th at 5 p.m. ET.
