[UPDATE 10/30/20]: Due to snowy conditions at Morris, CT’s South Farms, this weekend’s sold-out, two-night Goose Halloween run has been postponed to next weekend, Friday, November 6th and Saturday, November 7th. The band announced the shows’ postponement with a video message from the white-blanketed South Farms concert field as the snow continues to come down. As guitarist Rick Mitarotonda notes in the clip, “We really wanted to play a rock and roll concert in the snow up here, but the hill’s a mess already.”

While Goose fans will have to make new plans for Halloween weekend, today’s news isn’t all bad. The band just released a new EP, Yeti, streaming now on all major platforms. What’s more, as Peter Anspach noted in the clip, the weather at South Farms is supposed to be much nicer—and sunnier—when they try again next weekend. [10/7/20]: CT-based indie groove outfit Goose will return to Morris, CT’s South Farms for two more “Twilight Concerts On The Farm” to celebrate Halloween in socially-distanced, 2020 fashion. The two Halloween shows, set to take place on Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st, will mark the third and fourth Goose shows at the pod-style outdoor venue in as many months, as the band played a pair of shows at the venue for a hometown crowd on September 16th and September 17th.

While the band has played a number of drive-in shows in the last month, the return to South Farms is a welcome one for fans, as it’s one of the few venues currently operating socially-distanced shows with full PA audio (rather than the FM-based signal used at most drive-ins). Fans will be asked to adhere to CDC and Connecticut state guidelines in relation to social distancing while attending the Goose Halloween shows at South Farms.

If past years are any indication, fans can expect a very “special” performance from Goose in honor of Halloween. Check out our coverage of Goose’s cover-filled 2019 Halloween performance at the Mercury Lounge in New York City here.
