Goose guitarist/pianist/singer Peter Anspach took to his Instagram over the weekend to debut a new original solo single which he said was inspired by the 2012 Wes Anderson film Moonrise Kingdom.

Titled “Moonrise”, Anspach introduced the solo acoustic tune in a post shared to his Instagram on Saturday. The video hears the mustached musician deliver a simple-but-enchanting rendition of the song which draws on Simon & Garfunkel-esque influences thanks to its rich acoustic guitar tone and doubled vocals heard in the recording.
