Gorillaz have continued their busy week of announcements with the reveal of the lineup for their Demon Dayz LA festival, set to take place on October 20th at Pico Rivera Sports Arena & Grounds in Los Angeles, CA. In addition to a headlining performance by Gorillaz, Demon Dayz LA will feature sets by Erykah Badu, The Internet, DRAM, Little Simz, Kilo Kish, Ana Tijoux, Tony Allen, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Las Cafeteras, and Chulita Vinyl Club.
The one-day festival will come on the heels of an extensive run of international tour dates scheduled to take place throughout this year. Demon Dayz LA will mark the second edition of Gorillaz’ festival, and the first to take place in the U.S. following last year’s inaugural edition in the U.K.
This year’s busy schedule for Gorillaz also includes the upcoming release of their new album, The Now Now, set for a June 29th release via Warner Bros. Records. Below, you can watch the recently released official video for the album’s funky, synth-laced opening track, “Humility”, including a featured cameo from Jack Black.
