On Saturday, Gov’t Mule and Blackberry Smoke both offered up festival sets at the Ribs & Blues Festival in Raalte, Netherlands. The southern rock bands traded off sit-ins on different Allman Brothers Band covers during their respective performances.

Gov’t Mule welcomed Blackberry Smoke guitarist Charlie Starr for a cover of ABB’s “Blue Sky”, which featured some beautiful guitar interplay between Starr and Mule frontman Warren Haynes. While welcoming Starr onstage, Haynes explained, “We do this sort of thing back in the States quite a lot, but we’re glad to have a chance to do it a little bit with you guys.” Watch Gov’t Mule cover “Blue Sky” with Charlie Starr below:

During Blackberry Smoke’s set, Warren Haynes joined the band for a cover of the Allman Brothers Band’s “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More”.
