Gov’t Mule recently wrapped up the first portion of their spring tour in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre, and will regroup at the Central Park SummerStage on May 17 for another extended run in support of their 10th studio album, Revolution Come… Revolution Go. The band has previously released two songs from the album, “Stone Cold Rage” and “Sarah, Surrender,” and plan to release the full 12-track out on June 9th via Fantasy Records. Today, they release “Dreams & Songs,” produced by Don Was and Warren Haynes.

Revolution Come… Revolution Go marks the band’s first new release in four years, and sounds to be the most diverse album to date. Listen to “Dreams & Songs” below:

By design, the album’s recording started on Election Day, and contains a heavy political agenda, mixing the band’s timeless blends of rock, blues, funk, and soul with lyrical observations on the state of America. Warren Haynes, Matt Abts, Danny Louis, and Jorgen Carlsson used the time and place to catalogue the range of American emotions that have spurred from the divided political climate, ultimately reminding listeners that we are all in this together.
