Gov’t Mule will return to New Orleans for a Mule-O-Ween celebration at the Orpheum Theater, the band announced on Wednesday. Slated for October 29th, the concert will mark the Warren Haynes-led quartet’s first Crescent City show since 2019.
A pre-sale for tickets to the Mule-O-Ween Gov’t Mule show at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans begins on Wednesday, September 7th at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 9th at 10 a.m. CT. Along with the announcement, the band shared a concert graphic with homages to This Is Spinal Tap, including a volume nob that goes to 11.

The Mule-O-Ween concert will put emphatic punctuation on the band’s upcoming fall tour. Set to begin on September 17th with a sold-out show in Boulder, CO, the tour includes a number of dates rescheduled from when Haynes injured his back in March and the band was forced to postpone several shows. Additionally, the six-week run of shows will see Mule joined by Old Crow Medicine Show, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Blues Traveler, The Soul Rebels, and more on select dates. Gov’t Mule will then wrap 2022 with a two-night New Year’s Eve run at the Beacon Theatre.
