The famous Grand Ole Opry will return to “The Farm” kick off the 2019 Bonnaroo Music Festival next month. The long-running concert series based out of nearby Nashville made its Bonnaroo debut in 2018, and will look to bring the Tennessee city’s rich country roots to the festival when it helps ease fans into night one of the four-day weekend event.

Performers at this year’s Grand Ole Opry setup, which will take place at the festival’s “That Tent” on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., includes Old Crow Medicine Show, Ricky Skaggs, Riders In The Sky, Steve Earle, Morgan Evans, Ashley Monroe, Molly Tuttle, and Wendy Moten, and the Opry Square Dancers. Fans who can’t make it down to Bonnaroo this year will be able to tune into the event’s performance when it streams live on opry.com and wsmonline.com. Audio will also be streamed live via terrestrial radio on Nashville’s WSM 650-AM.

“The Opry’s inaugural trip to Bonnaroo last year was nothing short of amazing,” Opry Entertainment Group’s Sally Williams, said of the show’s return to Bonnaroo for its second year in a statement shared via press release. “All of us fortunate enough to be part of that performance loved watching some of the world’s biggest music fans connect with the Opry, many for the first time. It definitely was one of the highlights of 2018, and when we look at the line-up of artists who have signed on for next month’s show, we have no doubt that performance is going to be just as memorable.”

Some of the other unique experiences which Bonnaroo organizers have planned for this year include a mix of various parties throughout the festival campground, a late-night dance party themed around Phish‘s Kasvot Växt Halloween gag, and more.
