Grateful Dead Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Best Of Compilation

In honor of their 50th anniversary, the Grateful Dead will release The Best of the Grateful Dead, a two-disc collection of some of the best studio recording from the band. The album will feature, in chronological order, 32 tracks from 1967’s “The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion), to 1989’s “Standing on the Moon.”

The album “also highlights the original versions of songs that would later become staples of the band’s transcendent concerts, such as “Truckin’,” “China Cat Sunflower,” “Uncle John’s Band,” and “Fire On the Mountain.”
