This week’s (July 3rd) episode of the Grateful Dead Shakedown Stream archival webcast series will take fans back to the band’s performance at Washington, D.C.’s RFK Stadium on June 14th, 1991. The show was originally released as View From The Vault II.

In addition to the show, longtime Grateful Dead/Jerry Garcia Band roadie “Big” Steve Parish will join David Lemieux and Gary Lambert on the weekly Shakedown Stream pre-show. Along with the announcement of the show, the Grateful Dead pages shared a quote from Parish about his role in the Dead universe:

A lot of people think that a big guy isn’t too bright – they put that handle on you. Jerry wanted to disprove that theory. He put me in the position to do his thinking on how to move his band around. He trusted me explicitly because we had that bond.

Scroll down to tune in to the 6/14/91 Grateful Dead Shakedown Stream (starting at 8:45 p.m. ET) and the pre-show (starting at 8:00 p.m. ET):
