Grateful Getaway, a new 11-day festival honoring the musical legacy of the Grateful Dead, is set to launch this summer in central New York with performances by Dark Star Orchestra, Sam Grisman Project, Melvin Seals & JGB, and more.

Grateful Getaway: An Enchanting Cosmic Odyssey Through the Grateful Dead’s Musical Wonderland will take place at Wonderland Forest, a new campground and concert venue near LaFayette, N.Y. that opened in 2023 with a 50th anniversary celebration of Summer Jam at Watkins Glen. The festival will host concerts each night for 11 nights starting August 1st with a yet unannounced bill followed by a pair of consecutive shows by Sam Grisman Project—one also featuring Grateful For Biggie, the Dead/Notorious B.I.G. hybrid tribute.

The fest will also feature two nights each of Melvin Seals & JGB and Dark Star Orchestra, as well as single-night performances by Pink Talking Fish and Steely Dead, with three additional concerts to be announced.

Tickets for Grateful Getaway are on sale now at rates of $199 for admission to all 11 days of music without camping, $420 for all 11 days with camping at Wonderland Forest, and $1,999 for an all-inclusive package that includes an exclusive tent site, private porta potty, meals, drinks and more. Tickets are also available for individual shows starting at just $25. Click below to view the festival schedule, and for more information and to purchase tickets, head here.
