Ahead of the band’s Shred 4/20 stream, Grateful Shred offered fans a preview of its “first and only appearance” of 2021 with a clip of “They Love Each Other”. Premiered by Relix on Tuesday, the video arrives hours before the webcast is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Filmed at the band’s own Liberty Hair Farm in Echo Park, CA, the promotional clip offers a telling sign of things to come. With the core lineup of singers/guitarists Austin McCutchen, Sam Blasucci, and Clay Finch alongside bassist Dan Horne welcoming in Horne’s Circles Around The Sun bandmate Adam MacDougall on keys and drummer Josh Adams, the sound of Los Angeles’ premier Grateful Dead cover band is further bolstered. In addition to the original skilled performances, the sound was mixed by Horne himself for a quality audio experience.

“It was important for us to include ’They Love Each Other’ in the set because though we all can’t be together right now – dancing, singing, hugging – we’re thinking of a time very soon when we will be and about experiencing that human connection,” Horne said in a statement. “We have so much love for each other and our Liberty Hair Farm home; the members of this band, our team, crew, family and friends who helped us make this unique and special broadcast happen. Everything that we have went into it. We very much hope that you come along for the ride.”
