Today, Greensky Bluegrass has announced a very special collaboration with Telluride Brewing Co. The progressive bluegrass quintet will be teaming with the Colorado-based brewery for a special American lager, which will be available in limited quantities in Colorado this summer.

As Telluride Brewing Co. notes on their website,

Inspired out of love for great beer, bluegrass, and friendship, Greensky: An American Lager was born. This collaboration with Greensky Bluegrass resulted in a pure sessionable lager with a delicious Mosaic hop backbone that you can enjoy throughout the show. See you on the summer tour!

Greensky: An American Lager‘s alcohol by volume (ABV) is 5.2%, with an international bitterness unit (IBU) of 39. The brewery also notes that the new collaborative American lager pairs well with seafood, suggesting that the new brew be paired with bass, calamari, caviar, clams, and oysters.
