On Monday, five-piece jamgrass outfit Greensky Bluegrass confirmed the theme for their 2019 Halloween celebration. The band will celebrate the special occasion on October 31st with a “Totally Bitchin’ 80s Halloween Party” at Chicago, IL’s Chicago Theatre.
Greensky Bluegrass’ upcoming Halloween performance marks the third edition of the band’s tribute to the music of the 1980s. GSBG previously honored music from the 1980s during Halloween performance sin Boulder, CO in 2011 and San Francisco in 2012.
Prior to their Halloween celebration, Greensky is set to make festival appearances at Suwannee Hulaween (10/24) and Hangtown Music Festival (10/26).
