Following an opening set from Ghost Light, Greensky made sure to make it worth it for every fan who decided to come out on a chilly Tuesday night. The band came right out of the gate with “Burn Them” which transitioned straight into “Reuben’s Train” by The Dillards. After that came “Less Than Supper” and “Tuesday Letter”, followed Traffic‘s “Light Up Or Leave Me Alone”. Greensky followed that up with “Old Barns” from the 2008 release Five Interstates, followed by “Send Me Your Address From Heaven” by Johnnie Bailes, and then “Ashes” and “Leap Year” to close out the set.

The band came out for set number two and opened up with “Murder of Crows”, then a cover of Ralph Stantley‘s “Clinch Mountain Backstep”. After that the band invited up Pappy Biondo to join in with his banjo for “I Second That Emotion” by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles as well as the traditional song “Little Maggie”. Greensky then reclaimed the stage as they played “Cold Feet”, followed by “Before You Bring Out Your Dead” which customarily segued into “Bring Out Your Dead”, and “All For Money” to follow. The band then brought up Holly Bowling to join them for “Windshield” and “Living Over” to close out the second set.

Greensky Bluegrass returned to the stage with Bowling for the encore, where they played “Fixin’ to Ruin” to send everyone home.

The two acts continue to their tour Wednesday night with a show at The Egg in Albany, NY. For tickets and a full list of dates, head to Greensky’s website.
