A cover of the Traveling Wilburys‘ “Handle With Care” ensued before the bluegrass veterans welcomed Holly Bowling to the stage. Bowling sat-in with the band on “Fixin’ To Ruin” before a “Windshield” duet featured her and Paul Hoffman. The now-sextet then launched into the set-closing “Living Over”.

Greensky opened the second frame with “Do It Alone” before a take on Townes Van Zandt‘s “White Freight Liner Blues” and Robin Davis Duo‘s “Prom Night”. A lengthy, 30+ minute segue of “Wish I Didn’t Know”, Wayward Sons‘ “Tarpology”, and the Rolling Stones‘ “No Expectations” brought the group to the midway point of set two.

A string of originals including “All For Money”, “Old Barns”, and “Wings for Wheels” took Greensky Bluegrass near the end of their second set at The Anthem. They weren’t done just yet, however. To close out set two, they invited Bowling back to the stage, this time joined by Tom Hamilton, for a take on the Greensky original, “Leap Year”. All seven musicians returned for the encore, a cover of Spencer Davis Group‘s “Gimme Some Lovin'”.
