Ahead of their upcoming 25th anniversary, The Greyboy Allstars have shared a new holiday single “Rudolph’s Lament” as a “year end holiday gift.”

The quintet featuring Karl Denson, Robert Walter, Chris Stillwell, Elgin Park, and Aaron Redfield notes, “One of our favorite tunes from the outtakes bin, ‘Rudolph’s Lament’ is a spacey Waltz that found itself as an outlier on our upcoming release. Accept this as our year end holiday gift. With Love, The Greyboy Allstars.”

“Rudolph’s Lament” is a relaxing holiday-themed tune, with elements of smooth jazz and classical music thrown into the mix. Denson’s intricate work on the flute shines bright on the single, with Walter following his every move, laying down a psychedelically woven harmony on the organ.
