Snarky Puppy Hosts First Annual GroundUP Music Festival [Videos/Review]

This week, the festival has released the daily schedules for the weekend’s various sets of music, special workshops, and educational programs led by the artists. You can check them out below:

GroundUP Music Festival offers more than just great music. As Snarky Puppy bandleader and GroundUP Music founder Michael League explains, “Our focus is not to expand, but to build the most ideal experience for both artist and audience while continuing even farther down the road of musical diversity in our programming.” Fans have the opportunity to participate in intimate masterclasses and workshops including a conversation between bass heavyweights Victor Wooten and Michael League, a genre-bending lesson with Robert Glasper, songwriting with The Wood Brothers and a capella on the beach with members of KNOWER and Banda Magda. Attendees will also get the chance to rub elbows with the artists, who will be milling around all weekend long.along with personal interactions with the festival artists who stay all weekend long.
