This coming weekend, from February 9th – 11th, GroundUp Music Festival will return to Miami Beach, FL for its second annual weekend event. Hosted by GRAMMY-winning, jazz-funk collective Snarky Puppy and their associated label, GroundUP Music, the festival will feature a special Snarky set each day along with performances from an eclectic list of international talents including The Wood Brothers, The Flecktones Trio feat. Béla Fleck, Victor Wooten and Futureman, Robert Glasper, Knower, Roosevelt Collier, Joshua Redman, Weedie Braimah & The Hands of Time, Banda Magda, and so many more.

GroundUP Music Festival offers more than just great music. As Snarky Puppy bandleader and GroundUP Music founder Michael League explains, “Our focus is not to expand, but to build the most ideal experience for both artist and audience while continuing even farther down the road of musical diversity in our programming.” Fans have the opportunity to participate in intimate masterclasses and workshops including a conversation between bass heavyweights Victor Wooten and Michael League, a genre-bending lesson with Robert Glasper, songwriting with The Wood Brothers and a capella on the beach with members of KNOWER and Banda Magda. Attendees will also get the chance to rub elbows with the artists, who will be milling around all weekend long.along with personal interactions with the festival artists who stay all weekend long.
