Last weekend, GroundUp Music Festival returned to Miami Beach, Florida, for its third-annual weekend event. Hosted by Grammy-winning, jazz-funk collective Snarky Puppy and their associated label, GroundUP Music, the festival featured a special Snarky set each day along with performances from David Crosby, Ghost-Note, Tank And The Bangas, Susana Baca, Bill Laurance, The Funky Knuckles, Michelle Willis and more. Lalah Hathaway served as the festival’s artist-at-large. During the festival, Snarky Puppy also delivered the world premiere of their new, unreleased twelfth album with the first-ever live performances of the music from the album.

Known for its genre-bending lineup, GroundUp Music Festival is also known for its scrumptious selection of local food created by celebrity-chef Michelle Bernstein. Located on the beach during Florida’s best weather, with small interactive workshops all weekend, Snarky Puppy put together an impressive experience that music lovers should not skip out on next year!
