According to the announcement shared by Guns N’ Roses on Thursday, Smashing Pumpkins will join the tour for six shows in July beginning with the performance Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA July 8th. The two will continue on together for the scheduled stops in Detroit, MI (7/11); Toronto, ON (7/13); Washington, D.C. The new 2020 summer tour dates add to what had previously been scarce summer for Smashing Pumpkins, as the only planned performance until yesterday was that of a headlining appearance at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, GA in early May.

The band returned to the headlines earlier this week when frontman Billy Corgan discussed a forthcoming album from the recently-reunited group.

Tickets for Guns N’ Roses’ 2020 summer stadium tour, including the dates with Smashing Pumpkins, are available now through the band’s website.
