Update 5/12/20: The Hangout Music Festival Hang From Home announcement graphic has been removed from the festival’s social media pages. A representative from Hangout Music Festival confirmed to Live For Live Music that “as it stands right now, the event was cancelled.”


Hangout Music Festival has announced Hang From Home, a virtual festival set to take place this May 15th-17th. The virtual event replaces the festival which was set to take place on the same dates in Gulf Shores, AL, but has since been canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Presented by Hangout Music Festival, 92.1 ZEW, and Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, Hang From Home boasts a lineup consisting of Trey Anastasio Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gary Clark Jr., Gov’t Mule, The Revivalists, The Black Keys, Dave Matthews Band, and many more.

The event will air live sets online and via 92.1 ZEW beginning on Friday, May 15th at 1 p.m. ET. Friday’s sets will run until 10 p.m. Saturday will see music from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m., whereas Sunday will see music from 1-10 p.m.

Additional artists include The 1975, Alabama Shakes, Billie Eilish, Cage The Elephant, Dominic Fike, The Flaming Lips, Foster The People, Glorious Sons, Jamell Richardson, The Killers, Panic! At The Disco, Phoenix, Twenty One Pilots, Wilco, and more. Hang From Home organizers promise a full schedule in the coming days.
