Hogs For The Cause will return to New Orleans, LA in 2022 with a lineup headed by Shakey Graves and Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers. The festival will take place at UNO Lakefront Arena Festival Grounds on April 1st and 2nd.
Additionally, Galactic with special guests Luther Dickinson and more, Yonder Mountain String Band, James McMurtry, Neal Francis, Flatland Cavalry, Allison Russell, Mike and the Moonpies, Joshua Ray Walker, Buffalo Nichols, The Iceman Special, New Orleans Suspects, Silver Synthetic, Michot Melody Makers, Eddie 9V, The Glen David Andrews Band, The Pink Stones, Jank Setup, and People Museum will also be on hand for the two-day event.
More than just music, Hogs For The Cause raises money for families with children fighting pediatric cancer. After last year’s sold-out event broke fundraising records, HFTC aims to do the same this year through its partnership with Children’s Hospital New Orleans. Furthermore, the festival focuses heavily on food, hosting “Bacon & Wings Night” on Friday and BBQ all day Saturday. HFTC will also feature food competitions, with teams competing to eat as much bacon, BBQ, and wings as possible.
