The online event will be available for free, although Hudson Vally Votes is encouraging donations via Act Blue with net proceeds benefiting Common Cause New York, an organization on the front lines of battling voter suppression and ensuring that votes are counted fairly. All of the performers and artists have donated their time to get out the vote and promote election integrity.

Along with the presidential election, Hudson Valley Votes seeks to mobilize the vote in regional races, which play a significant role in how its communities are governed. The organization, which has produced local election events over the two years prior, felt a concert-rally was precisely what the community needed to bring attention to the importance of local elections, civic engagement and to push for record turnout at the polls.
