British-bred blues duo Ida Mae has announced their debut 2019 U.S. headlining tour this fall, followed by a tour supporting Rodrigo y Gabriela. The husband-and-wife duo—comprised of Chris Turpin and Stephanie Jean—continues to tour in support of their recently released debut album, Chasing Lights, which arrived on June 7th. The new tour announcement also comes on the heels of successful tour in support of Greta Van Fleet and Blackberry Smoke.
Ida Mae’s debut 2019 U.S. headlining tour begins with a performance at Rocky Mount, VA’s Harvester Performance Center on November 2nd and ends with a show at Asbury Park, NJ’s Wonder Bar on November 14th. The tour will also see the band make stops at New York City’s Mercury Lounge (11/3); Philadelphia, PA’s Milkboy (11/4); Ann Arbor, MI’s The Ark (11/6); Columbus, OH’s Rumba Café (11/8); Akron, OH’s Musica (11/9); Toronto, ON’s The Rivoli (11/10); and Allston, MA’s Great Scott (11/13).
Ida Mae will then link up with Rodrigo Y Gabriela for a performance at Sugar Land, TX’s Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land on November 15th and stay on the road with them through a final show at Miami Beach, FL’s The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater on December 6th. Ida Mae and Rodrigo Y Gabriela will also make stops at St Louis, MO’s The Pageant (11/19); Louisville, KY’s Brown Theatre (11/27); Harrisburg, PA’s Forum Auditorium (11/30); Asheville, NC’s Thomas Wolfe Civic Center Auditorium (12/3); and more.
Ida Mae will regroup for three final headlining shows at Birmingham, AL’s Saturn (12/8); Atlanta, GA’s Smith’s Olde Bar (12/9); and Nashville, TN’s Mercy Lounge (12/12).
