The Infamous Stringdusters‘ dobroist Andy Hall has shared a video of a Led Zeppelin cover to his Instagram page. The video sees Hall covering “Going To California” from Zeppelin’s 1971 album, Led Zeppelin IV.

For the cover, Hall recorded a backing track on his dobro and then played the melody on camera. Clocking in at just under three minutes, Hall stays true to the original. Of course, he allows his dobro to do all the singing while still maintaining the feel and sound of the 50-year-old track.

“This song came on the other day and I thought I’d work up a version,” said Hall in the video’s description. “Did a dobro backing track and then played the melody. Sorry the intro takes like 8 seconds. Tough for scrollers I know.”
