Jack White has released “Hi-De-Ho”, a new collaboration Q-Tip, the lauded rapper, producer, and A Tribe Called Quest figurehead. The esoteric new track is due to appear on White’s first of two 2022 albums, Fear Of The Dawn, out via Third Man Records on April 8th.

After a frantic intro layered with off-kilter percussion, enveloping production, and White’s throaty howl, Dominic John Davis‘ bass, and Daru Jones‘ drums kick in to lend the track a more hip-hop-friendly bounce. Utilizing a distorted vocal tone quite familiar to fans of Jack White, Tip takes the song on a jaunt around the block en route to an avant-garde synth-loop outro.

The densely layered single Q-Tip collab arrives along with B-Side “Queen of Bees”, a sing-along with studio-years Beatles vibes.

A limited-edition “Hi-De-Ho” b/w “Queen of the Bees” tri-color 7” will be available exclusively at Third Man Records Cass Corridor Detroit on Saturday, April 9th in celebration of both the album’s release and the start of White’s eagerly anticipated Supply Chain Issues Tour.

Fear Of The Dawn is also now available for pre-order and digital pre-save. To pre-order the album in a variety of physical and digital formats, head here.
