Jack White had some burning questions for Snoop Dogg after the rapper revealed a new breakfast cereal called “Snoop Loopz” earlier this week.

Announced via Instagram posts depicting a brightly colored cereal box with a blue dog gripping a spoon and the phrase “More Marshmallows” emblazoned on the front, Snoop Loopz is the product of Broadus Foods, a company founded by Calvin Broadus (Snoop Dogg) and Percy Miller (Master P) that supports numerous charitable organizations including the homelessness-focused nonprofit, Door of Hope. The gluten-free, multigrain, apparently berry-flavored cereal joins the company’s “Mama Snoop” line of breakfast foods, which was named in memory of Snoop’s late mother and also includes grits, syrup, oatmeal, and pancake mix.

Following the announcement, Jack White shared a post of his own purportedly to “personally congratulate” Mr. Dogg on a commendable achievement. However, White’s caption quickly shifted to more pressing matters regarding the box and, more importantly, the “more marshmallows” claim:

[In] the press release from Broadus foods, the photo of the cereal box contains the words “MORE MARSHMALLOWS”. More than what? if this is in fact a brand new cereal, it can’t be more marshmallows than “before”. Is it a statement that this cereal has more marshmallows than say…a bag of sand, or a typical caesar salad? Or, is it a DEMAND from Snoop Dogg himself that we just have more marshmallows in this world in general? That last theory is my hope. Lastly, the photograph on Master P’s instagram shows a DIFFERENT phrase, an un-plural “MORE MARSHMALLOW” without the “S”. Photo attached, answers demanded.

Thorough as White’s inquiries are, further questions abound as the world awaits a response from The Doggfather. For one, who asked for a berry-flavored cereal with marshmallows? Or if it’s not actually berry-flavored, why does the box say “Berry delicious fo shizzle?” And why is it being marketed to kids instead of stoners? Seems like a missed opportunity there.

Furthermore, why did Jack White neglect to mention that there are exactly zero marshmallows in the photo on the box despite the prominent “More Marshmallow(s)?” And why is the website address misspelled on the back of the box?

Well, Snoop? We’re waiting.

This is a developing story.
