Jam Cruise will not set sail as planned for its 19th voyage in early 2022, organizers Cloud 9 Adventures confirmed on Tuesday.

The absence of a Jam Cruise in 2022 will mark the second straight year without the beloved “festival at sea” following a similar cancellation of the 2021 event last spring.

While the concert industry is getting back up to speed in late 2021 and early 2022, the cruise industry has a much more uncertain timeline, complicating the planning of the 2022 cruise to an untenable degree.

We know you’ve been patiently waiting to hear from us about the status of Jam Cruise 19. First off, we miss you all dearly and cherish this incredible community, along with everything that Jam Cruise represents in our lives.

We want you to know that we have exhausted every effort, but there still remains so much uncertainty on getting cruise ships back in the water in the U.S. – let alone, at full capacity with top-notch concerts onboard.

Unfortunately the cruise industry isn’t progressing on a timeline that supports our collective ability to properly plan and get behind a January 2022 sailing. So we’ve made the difficult decision to wait this out until early 2023 when we are confident we can deliver the experience we all deserve.

Until then, stay safe & stay funky… We hope to see you at another Cloud 9 Adventure in 2021 or 2022

If you want to hold your spot for Jam Cruise 19 in 2023, all 2022 pre-bookings will be honored at the rescheduled event. You can also still pre-book your trip in 2023 here.
