Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit have announced that the opening show of their upcoming Ryman Auditorium residency in Nashville on Friday, October 18th will be streamed live via nugs.tv.
This pay-per-view live stream from the Ryman also marks the launch of a Jason Isbell live audio program made available via nugs.net. Starting October 18th, recordings from Isbell’s live archives will be made available on nugs.net’s live music streaming application, as well as a-la-carte downloads, Hi-Res, MQA, and CDs. Future live recordings to be released. Purchases of the Friday Ryman webcast will include a 90-day nugs.net subscription. The live stream is set to begin at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Isbell, the Grammy-winning songwriter known for his six-string skills and heartfelt Americana roots music, will welcome his wife and 400 Unit bandmate Amanda Shires as support for the opening night.
Other acts scheduled to open for Isbell during the Ryman residency include Sharde Thomas on October 19th; R.L. Boyce on October 20th; Christone “Kingfish” Ingram on October 22nd; Jimmy Duck Holmes on October 23rd; North Mississippi Allstars on October 25th; and The Blind Boys of Alabama on October 26th.
The Ryman Auditorium is known as “The Mother Church of Country Music” and was famously the former home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943-1974. Isbell will be performing on the same stage as legends like Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, and Johnny Cash.
