Longtime Grateful Dead photographer Jay Blakesberg is bringing his Between The Dark and Light slideshow and storytelling presentation to the east coast for 3 shows this March. Two of Blakesberg’s upcoming events will feature live music, with the final night in also Nashville also including a Q&A with Paradigm talent agent Jonathan Levine.
Blakesberg’s first event will take place on March 16th at Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, prior to Phil Lesh & Friends’ show, and is free to ticket-holders who RSVP here. Blakesberg will then head to Atlanta, GA’s City Winery on March 19th, which will feature a performance from Grateful Dead tribute act Cosmic Charlie.
For the final event, Blakesberg will bring his slideshow and storytelling presentation to Nashville, TN’s City Winery on March 20th. The Nashville date will also include an onstage discussion with Levine, who serves as the agent for Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price, and many others. In addition, folk singer/songwriter Steven Poltz will be on hand offering songs, stories, and commentary as the evening progresses.
