JAZZ is PHSH and Empire Strikes Brass are the latest acts to enter the burgeoning drive-in concert market. The two acts will share the bill on July 22nd at Hound’s Drive-In Theater in King’s Mountain, NC.

This announcement comes as more and more acts, as well as production companies, realize that drive-in concerts will be the new normal for the foreseeable future. On Monday, event production giant Live Nation announced a series of drive-in concerts across multiple states, featuring headliners such as Brad PaisleyDarius RuckerNelly, and many more.

While JAZZ is PHSH and Empire Strikes Brass are the first acts to be announced for Live at the Drive-In, a press release states that many more will follow in the coming months. In addition to bringing the gift of music back to audiences in North Carolina, the event will also serve as a fundraiser for Cleveland Community Foundation, an affiliate for Foundation for the Carolinas. FFTC acts as a central catalyst for thousands of charitable funds serving families and communities across 13 counties in North Carolina.

Also announced was a second drive-in series with the Larry Keel Experience and The Grass Is Deaded for a special “Long Strange Trip Edition” on August 6th.
