Next week’s scheduled Jazz is PHSH and The James Brown Dance Party on June 3rd is moving to Garcia’s at The Cap. Brothers Adam and Matthew Chase (Jazz is PHSH) have recruited Eric Bloom (Lettuce, The Shady Horns), Carl Gerhard (Giant Country Horns), Felix Pastorius (Cindy Blackman, The Mu’tet), Josh Thomas (With Lions), Adam Dotson (Rubblebucket, Slavic Soul Party), Jay Rodriguez (Miles Davis, Groove Collective), and Chris Rob (Talib Kweli) for the fun. Due to a scheduling conflict, Fred Wesley and Kofi Burbridge will no longer be performing. All tickets purchased to The Cap will be honored at Garcia’s.

When Strange Design’s Adam Chase and Matthew Chase decided to put together their Phish and James Brown tributes, Jazz Is PHSH and The James Brown Dance Party, it was anybody’s guess that both concepts would take off as much as they have. But performance after performance, the Brothers Chase have brought in some of the most talented musicians from across the jam, funk, and jazz spectrum, and each show is always a treat for spectators who can’t get enough of Phish and James Brown‘s music. With the June 3rd show bringing together some of the best, we can’t wait to get down at Garcia’s (purchase tickets here).

Tickets for James Brown Dance Party and Jazz is PHSH show on Saturday, June 3rd are currently on-sale and available at the venue’s website. For show updates and additional information, join the Facebook Event page.
