Jeff Lynne’s ELO will take its final bows with a concert in London’s Hyde Park on Sunday, July 13th, 2025. The show will punctuate the ongoing Over And Out Tour by the Electric Light Orchestra architect and producer extraordinaire.
“My return to touring began at Hyde Park in 2014”, Lynne explained in a social media post. “It seems like the perfect place to do our final show. We couldn’t be more excited to share this special night in London with our UK fans. As the song goes, ‘we’re gonna do it One More Time!’”
Tickets for the final concert by Jeff Lynne’s ELO in London’s Hyde Park go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 25th at 9 a.m. GMT. Fans can sign up here to access a venue pre-sale beginning Wednesday, October 23rd at 10 a.m. GMT. This marks the first headliner announcement for the 2025 British Summer Time (BST) concert series in Hyde Park, which this past year hosted marathon all-day concerts headlined by Stevie Nicks, SZA, Kings of Leon, Andrea Bocelli, Morgan Wallen, Shania Twain, and more.
Jeff Lynne’s ELO kicked off The Over And Out farewell tour on August 24th in Palm Desert, CA. Due to overwhelming demand, the band added additional shows in arenas across North America through October 26th, the second of two nights at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA. The original Electric Light Orchestra disbanded in 1986, after which Lynne went on to become one of the most sought-after producers in rock. He worked extensively with George Harrison and even produced the two “new” Beatles songs in their 1995–1996 Anthology series. Lynne formed Traveling Wilburys with Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Roy Orbison in 1988 and helmed a pair of widely acclaimed albums with the supergroup. In 2001, Lynne revived the ELO name for the album Zoom, and in 2014 launched Jeff Lynne’s ELO with a concert in Hyde Park. The singer/guitarist/producer is the only remaining original member of Electric Light Orchestra in the lineup and has led the band through two albums of new material—2015’s Alone in the Universe and 2019’s From Out of Nowhere—and a string of well-received tours.
