Today, the powerfully versatile Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band) has announced an upcoming fall tour with frequent collaborator Nick Cassarino (The Nth Power) in support of her upcoming solo album, Nexus.
The tour will make stops at various clubs and festivals across the country this September and October including newly confirmed performances in Ohio, Washington, Oregon, California, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts in addition to previously scheduled stops at David Shaw’s Big River Get Down, Sweetwater In The Sun, and Suwannee Hulaween.
Nexus, Jennifer Hartswick’s latest solo LP, features contributions from Cassarino as well as six-time Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist Christian McBride. As the album announcement noted, on Nexus, Hartswick delivers “a powerful and vulnerable performance from the depths of her soul.” The album’s official release will coincide with the tour’s opening night on September 7th at Idea Works in Mansfield, Ohio.
