Relix magazine has announced a string of Jerry Dance Party events after select Dead & Company shows on the band’s upcoming summer tour.

The after-party events will take place after Dead & Company—which features Grateful Dead members Bob WeirBill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart alongside John MayerJeff Chimenti, and Oteil Burbridge—play at Folsom Field in Boulder, CO (7/11) and Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL (7/24-25). The Jerry Dance Party show in Boulder will take place at the Boulder Theatre, and the Chicago shows at The Cubby Bear, which will begin immediately following Dead & Company’s performances.

The popular late-night events, curated by DJ JerrBrother, string together a cohesive evening of tracks from throughout Jerry Garcia‘s career. They will feature live cuts from the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia BandOld & In The WayNew Riders of the Purple SageMerl Saunders, and more.

“We’re bringing Garcia’s entire career to the dance floor, for three-plus hours of the most ripping, psychedelic live tracks,” DJ JerrBrother said. “Undoubtedly, at every Jerry Dance Party, people come up to me and ask, ‘What show was that from?’ ‘What year is this song from?’ I’ve combed through hours of live Garcia tracks to find the best of the best. We leave people with a renewed sense of exploration and love for the guy who brought it every night, Garcia.”

In addition to the Dead & Company after shows, Jerry Dance Party will also take place on May 23rd before and after longtime Phish collaborator The Dude of Life performs at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ, as well as before and after Anthony Krizan Band featuring members of Amfibian play at the same venue on May 24th.
