The Order Of Nature, a special collaboration between solo artist Jim James, and conductor Teddy Abrams of the Louisville Orchestra, officially arrives today.

This collaboration is a cultivation of a friendship between Jim and Teddy and the mutual music scene of their hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. The Order Of Nature is comprised of new songs written by James and orchestrated by Abrams into thoughtful, tangible soundscapes that represent James’ voice and words about social issues and his respect for nature.

Collectively, the album explores the absence of hate in nature. As James noted in a press release accompanying the album’s announcement, “Animals kill each other, but only out of hunger, while humans daily choose to hate – we choose to ignore the order of nature and that choice is wreaking havoc.”
