On Monday night, Jimmy Buffett continued the international leg of his 2019 tour with a performance at the London Palladium. During the latter half of his extensive one-set performance, Buffett dusted off a cover of the Grateful Dead‘s “Scarlet Begonias”, played for the first time in almost two years.
Jimmy Buffett kicked off his set with a cover of Fred Neil‘s “Everybody’s Talkin'” before moving forward with originals “Changes in Latitudes”, Changes in Attitudes”, “We Are the People Our Parents Warned Us About”, “Pencil Thin Mustache”, “Grapefruit—Juicy Fruit”, and “Jamaica Mistaica”. Buffett continued on with Alan Jackson‘s “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere”, “Son of a Son of a Sailor”, “Come Monday”, Crowded House‘s “Weather With You”, “Volcano”, “Cheeseburger in Paradise”, “Trip Around the Sun”, “Fins”, Paul Brady‘s “The World Is What You Make It”, and “The Lakes of Pontchartrain”.

The biggest surprise of the night came next as Buffett dusted off the Grateful Dead’s “Scarlet Begonias”, last played at San Francisco, CA’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on October 19th, 2017. Following the Grateful Dead tune, Buffett moved forward with “Oldest Surfer on the Beach”, “Jolly Mon Sing”, Zac Brown Band‘s “Knee Deep”, “Why Don’t We Get Drunk and Screw”, “A Pirate Looks at Forty”, Mac McAnally‘s “Back Where I Come From”, “Last Mango in Paris”, Crosby, Stills & Nash‘s “Southern Cross”, and a set-closing take on “Margaritaville”.
Jimmy Buffett remerged for a three-song encore that consisted of “One Particular Harbour”, “Down at the La Ti Dah”, and Van Morrison‘s “Brown Eyed Girl”.
