Veteran rockers Jimmy Eat World are the latest act to appear on NPR‘s “Tiny Desk Concert” series. The taped performance shared on Wednesday features singer Jim Adkins and percussionist Zach Lind along with touring member Robin Vining who deliver stripped renditions of new originals “Love Never” and “All The Way (Stay)”, along with the band’s 2001 hit, “The Middle”, for the NPR staff.

For their three-song performance, the trio used borrowed instruments gathered from around the NPR offices as they opened up the set in front of a small audience with renditions of “Love Never” and “All The Way (Stay)” from their newest studio album, 2019’s Surviving. Although the performance was unplugged, Adkins’ was able to utilize some of the trademark vocal power for which he’s widely known while belting out “The Middle”. Member Tom Linton also made his way behind the desk to turn the trio into a quartet for the fan-favorite tune.
