The show was streamed on The Relix Channel for fans who couldn’t make it to the Brooklyn venue on Saturday. Fans of Panic and Herring who missed both the show and the webcast for one reason or another will also be thrilled to know that pro-shot video footage of the show is still available to watch and enjoy heading into the new week.

The band’s performance opened with their take on Miles Davis‘ “Black Satin”, and continued with a mix of tunes from the Herring solo songbook including “Sketch Ballad”, “Miss Maybelle”, “Check the Hand”, “Kaleidoscope Carousel”, “Traffic Boom”, and “Scapegoat Blues”.

As Herring told Live For Live Music about the new band in a recent interview, “Most of my band are local musicians and there’s so much good music here [in Atlanta] and it was time to investigate a bit. I know some young guys who know some other young guys and they turned me on to some of these young lions in Atlanta and, man, what a blast to play with them. We started talking about this last November, almost a year ago, that’s when we got together for the first time. It’s not like we’ve been rehearsing for almost a year. It’s more like we got together, we realized this thing had potential.”
