Guitarist Joe Marcinek will gather an ensemble of talented friends at Chicago, IL’s HVAC Pub for a two-night Dead Funk Summit on June 24th and 25th. The two late-night blowouts will let fans of the Grateful Dead, funk music, and more keep partying late into the night after Dead & Company‘s shows at Wrigley Field.

Both nights of the annual Dead Funk Summit in Chicago will feature Joe Marcinek alongside bassist Tal Wilkenfeld, lauded turntablist DJ Logic, keyboardist Shaun Martin (Snarky Puppy), drummer Josh Dion (Paris Monster, John Scofield), and more. On Friday, June 24th, this all-star crew will be joined by guitarist Marcus Rezak and bassist Freekbass. On Saturday, June 25th, Umphrey’s McGee keyboardist Joel Cummins will get in on the action.
