Joe Russo will join the Late Night with Seth Meyers house band—better known as the Studio 8G Band—during the week of June 25th. The drummer confirmed the news via a post on his Instagram account.
Russo has joined the Studio 8G Band on a few occasions in the past, even holding down a weeklong slot with the group last October. The ensemble features Saturday Night Live alumnus, Fred Armisen, as well as Seth Jabour, Syd Butler, Eli Janney and Marnie Stern, though guest musicians are often enlisted.
Late Night with Seth Meyers airs at 12:35 am ET/11:35 pm CT every weeknight on NBC.
