For the 82nd edition of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead‘s Taper Tuesday, the Grateful Dead-inspired fan-favorite artist has released their soundboard recording from their performance at Founders Fest in June of this year at Founders Brewing Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. During the performance, the band led by drummer Joe Russo opened with a spacious jam that eventually settled into “Good Lovin'”, segueing into an unfinished take on the Grateful Dead’s disco-esque tune, “Shakedown Street”.

Again moving through a brief jam, the group laid out yet another danceable favorite, this time, “Dancing In The Streets”, which was a major highlight of the show. “Dancing In The Streets” gave JRAD and Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz time to step into the spotlight with an extended solo, and also featured a number of teases including those of Bob DylanThe Doors, and elements of “Cosmic Charlie”. Following renditions of a standout “Brown Eyed Women”, “The Wheel”, and a high-octane “I Need A Miracle”, to close out their festival set in full, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead laid out a heartfelt “Not Fade Away”, sung by guitarist and vocalist Tom Hamilton and featuring teases of “I Need A Miracle” throughout.

You can listen to the audio from the show below, which was released today as the 82nd edition of Taper Tuesday.
