Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has added another show to their previously-announced 2020 concert campaign. The Grateful Dead-inspired rock band announced on Wednesday that they will make an appearance–presumably, a headlining one–at northern California’s High Sierra Music Festival with the event returns over Independence Day weekend next summer.

At the time of the announcement, JRAD is the only artist confirmed for High Sierra in 2020, which will return for its 30th year on July 2nd-5th in Quincy, CA. The band’s appearance at the festival will fall right between their scheduled performances in Boston, MA on June 20th, and Eugene, OR on July 9th.

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead was back in the headlines recently as the band returned to Brooklyn Bowl last week for their first performance at the New York City venue since March 2018 for a benefit show to raise money for voter registration and awareness non-profit, HeadCount.

Fans should head to High Sierra’s website for ticket info, and stay tuned for the full lineup to arrive in the coming weeks as more events around the country have started to share their 2020 posters.
