[UPDATE 9/28/20]: After announcing a three-night run of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead livestreams for October 1st–3rd, where the first two performances will broadcast for free for LOCKN’ ticketholders, event organizers have now changed the third and final show to a “Donate-what-you-can” PPV model.

In an update posted by LOCKN’ on Sunday, organizers apologized for the back and forth messaging in regards to the concerts. The livestreams will serve as a benefit for non-partisan voter registration organization HeadCount. The October 3rd stream will be available for a minimum donation of $1.

[9/27/20]: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has announced a three-night livestream event taking place on October 1st–3rd. The recently-announced event will benefit HeadCount, a non-partisan organization that uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy.

Presented by Dayglo Presents and Dogfish Head, JRAD will help Relix jumpstart its Twitch channel with two streams on October 1st–2nd. Then, on October 3rd, JRAD will stream an exclusive set on FANS Live for LOCKN’ ticket purchasers. All 2021 LOCKN’ ticketholders will receive an access code to view the stream. The three-night event will replace the pay-per-view Live From LOCKN’ streams originally scheduled for October 2nd–4th. Those who purchased the original streams will receive a full refund.

JRAD will perform at an undisclosed indoor location with the broadcasts featuring visual integration of LOCKN’ landscapes. Throughout the streams, viewers will be able to verify their voter registration status and make in-stream donations to HeadCount. Both the Twitch and FANS Live streams will begin at 8 p.m. ET. Visit the Relix channel on Twitch for the streams on October 1st and 2nd, and FANS Live for the streams on October 3rd.

As far as in-person shows are concerned, JRAD is currently scheduled to perform at SweetWater 420 Fest in Atlanta, GA on April 23rd-25th, 2021, Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, IL on May 27th-31st, 2021, as well as a couple of rescheduled 2020 shows throughout next summer.
