The announcement of the 2021 LOCKN’ Farm Tedeschi Trucks weekend joins a pair of other mini-fest announcements from LOCKN’ organizers on Wednesday. In addition to the TTB-centric weekend, LOCKN’ Farm will also host a Tedeschi Trucks weekend featuring The Marcus King BandLettuceJon Batiste, and more (8/27–8/31) and a Goose weekend billed as Fred The Festival featuring DawesCory WongDr. Dog, and a number of Goose-adjacent acts (8/20–22).

The pivot from one larger, four-day festival to three smaller, artist-centered, three-day festivals came as a result of the rapidly-developing pandemic picture for concerts in the summer of 2021.

As LOCKN’ organizers Dayglo Presents explained in a statement,

We have had an amazing seven years together at LOCKN’ the music festival, with hundreds of thousands of fans from across the world witnessing countless epic performances and collaborations by hundreds of legendary artists, and a lot of fun along the way. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, LOCKN’ has created some of the most beautiful and magical live music memories.

In this moment, considering the challenges of COVID-19, we feel like it’s time to do something different, something intimate, something new. While preserving the spirit of our four-day festival, LOCKN’ will become a destination — LOCKN’ Farm — staying true to the core of what LOCKN’ has always been about — unforgettable, unique, and authentic live experiences.
