Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has shared pro-shot footage highlighting part of their performance at the Masonic Auditorium in Cleveland, OH last year on March 16th, 2019.

The video, which is the latest addition to the rock band’s “Rad Tracks” series showcases JRAD’s 19-minute, two-part performance of “Scarlet Begonias” into “I Know You Rider”, which closed out a loaded first set that had already featured “St. Stephen”, “Playing In The Band”, and a solo from pianist Marco Benevento. The video’s arrival also came with a free download of the two songs which is available here–fans should note the download is only available for a week.

The combination of the two songs made for a fun rarity for fans in attendance that night, as “Scarlet Begonias” was traditionally paired by the Grateful Dead with “Fire on the Mountain”, and “I Know You Rider” typically followed “China Cat Sunflower”. JRAD threw any sense of tradition out the window on this night, however, as the band seemed to have plenty of fun with their own combination of the two popular songs from the Dead’s live arsenal for their Ohio fans.

Relive the performances of the two songs from 3/16/19 via the pro-shot video below.
