On Friday night, John Mayer closed out his 2019 fall European tour with a performance at Manchester, England’s Manchester Arena.
Mayer and his band opened up their first set with “Helpless”, which was followed up by “Belief”. Following an appropriately placed “Love On The Weekend”, the first set continued with “On the Way Home”, “Who Says”, “Waitin’ on the Day”, “In the Blood”, “Moving On and Getting Over”, “Clarity”, “I Don’t Trust Myself (With Loving You)”, and “Edge of Desire”.

As he’s been doing throughout the tour, John Mayer took the stage solo with an acoustic guitar to kick off his second set of the night. Mayer ran through “Emoji of a Wave” and “Daughters” before covering Tom Petty‘s “Free Fallin'”. Moving back into his electric arrangement, the second set continued with a take on Jackson C. Frank‘s “Blues Run the Game”, “Queen of California”, “Rosie”, “Half of My Heart”, “Slow Dancing In a Burning Room”, “Why Georgia”, “Waiting On the World to Change”, and “Gravity”.
